This blog seems to have been a long time coming for me. I first started talking about blogging last March and it has taken me this long to work up the courage to finally create one.
Who needs courage to write a blog?
Well, me…and I can’t even say I have a very good reason. Mostly, it boils down to this fact – I’m a scaredy-cat when it comes to putting myself out there. So, I took a deep breath and decided to give it a whirl!
Before I get too involved in writing and posting pictures on here, I’d like to introduce myself.
I am a wife to a fantastically sarcastic man, and a mother to three fur-babies – a dog, a cat and a guinea pig – plus a cold-blooded baby, a bearded dragon.
During the summer of 2013, we bought our first home and are currently involved in the chaotic mess of trying to make it our own. Projects galore are in our future.
Along with all our home ventures, I like to craft, which includes (so far) crocheting, quilting, painting/designing signs and wreaths, and most recently, a new bag for our camping tent.
Based off my last craft, it might be obvious we enjoy camping during what little free time we have. My husband and I are nature lovers to our cores and try to get out in the fresh air as often as we can.
Along with enjoying Mother Nature, I have recently started looking for more natural ways to enjoy not only cleaning my home, but also myself – both with food and beauty products. This has definitely taken me down an interesting, but satisfying road.
Deep down in my heart, I’m a writer (if you didn’t already come to that assumption). Good or bad, it seems to be what I am. I’ve been doing it since I could read and spell. I absolutely I love it. This is part of the reason why I decided start a blog. I needed an outlet.
Along with writing, I’ve always loved photography. Although I am very much the amateur, I have been blessed with family and friends who have trusted me enough to take their photos. But my true photography passions lie in weather, landscapes and animals.
